Check the controller generation

Check the controller label, system information or installer handover documents. Ask your installer to confirm Gen7 if the generation is unclear.

Other controller generations and other manufacturers are outside the supported scope. Even on Gen7, every firmware version has not been verified; older firmware is not guaranteed to work.

What you need

Start with a commissioned system that can use Harreither's remote connection.

• The serial number of the controller you are authorised to access.
• The username and password used in the Harreither Gen7 app.
• The 20-character, case-sensitive auth code supplied by your installer.
• Internet access for the controller and browser, plus an available Hydrum service and Harreither relay.

Available readings and controls vary

Hydrum shows the rooms, sensors, operating modes and controls the controller supplies. Humidity, cooling setpoints and timers only appear where the system provides them. A missing sensor is not replaced with an estimate.

History records observations collected while monitoring is active. It cannot recover measurements from before collection began, and output activity is not measured energy consumption.

No automatic compatibility probe

Reading these pages or opening the demo does not scan your network or probe a controller. Only submitting the connection form starts an attempt with the details you supply.

That attempt checks the connection and login, not every possible firmware feature. Hydrum does not update controller firmware. Ask your installer about unsupported firmware or controller faults rather than bypassing identity checks.
